Occupational
Health and Safety Management System |
|
| |
|
Stack Masula specialises
in the development of manuals documenting how Occupational
Health and Safety concerns will be managed. These Management
Systems can be prepared for both large and small businesses
and are an invaluable tool when organisations are required
to demonstrate compliance with legislative requirements to
clients, principal contractors or even in a court of law.
An Occupational
Health and Safety Management System:
- Documents and communicates your Company's processes and
expectations;
- Outlines policies and procedures for managing health and
safety within your Company;
- Enables compliance to Australian Standard 4801 - Occupational
Health and Safety Management Systems; and
- Enables Companies to meet major contractor or government
pre-qualification requirements.
The
implementation of an effective occupational health and safety
system should always lead to a reduction in workplace illness
and injury. It seeks to minimise the costs associated with
workplace incidents and reduces the likelihood of breaches
of occupational health and safety laws. |

Masula can undertake Compliance Audits of OHS systems and
/ or physical work environments. The aim of auditing is to
provide an assessment of areas where the current documentation,
work environment, plant or equipment or work practices do
not comply with legislative and industry requirements. Audits
conducted by external parties can provide a fresh prospective
on the overall safety of your operations and highlight the
risks to management / owners should an incident occur.
An
audit report is prepared detailing the level of compliance
and to clearly identify priorities for action.
